The Color Challenge on Splitcoast (CC533) is gray, cantaloupe & coral. I wasn’t sure how well they would work for me, but I think they’re growing on me. I think the main problem is I have so little gray card stock and most of it is a warm gray. I did find a piece of cool gray (I much prefer it) so I was in business! Then I just had to create the other colors with a combo of distress inks.
Since I wasn’t doing a floral, the cantaloupe & coral colors seemed like a perfect sunset combo. The big oval was one I had laying around, so I found the big die I used to cut it, put it back in the die & sponged on the colors. After I stamped the silhouette horse with the worn lipstick, I added just a touch of shading w/ a lt rouge Copic & a few stamped stars at the top. I also sponged a small panel w/ the lipstick, marigold, persimmon & some weathered wood at the top then stamped the cowboy garb & fussy cut them. I stamped this again on white & paper pieced the sponged hat & boot on top. I used a frame embossing folder on the large white bg & a stamped fence I also fussy cut.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

wow, what an awesome card!
This is so beautiful. Love the sunset and the washed out look the grey and white gives. The horse stamp is lovely. Hugz
