It’s my pleasure to host the Splitcoast Featured Stamper Challenge (FS678) this week, so a big congrats to JJ Barrett (aka IndigosMom)! JJ has a lovely, colorful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the blue flower & chevron embossing, but used different images & dies, different embossing folder & a different layout.

To me, the blue, white & yellow color combo looks so fresh & crisp. After I colored the flowers, I die cut them, doing a little out of the box cutting to lift a couple of the petals on top of the die cut zigzag frame I attached on top. The script was heat embossed w/ white ink & white powder onto the cobalt blue strip. The white bg was dry embossed & I actually used the back side because I liked it a little better for this. On the Love die cut, I cut it in white & also blue, then spliced them together, using the cut off parts underneath their opposites for a double stack.

Here are the Copics I used. I also used yellow & ultramarine Prismacolor Pencils to add depth to the colors.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Supplies:

Stamps: Rubbernecker Stamps: Brushed Flower #5, Script Border #3
Paper:  Staples 110# white, turquoise, Hammermill Digital card, cobalt blue
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, Colorbox frost white pigment
Accessories:  Rubbernecker Stamps:  Rectangle Stitch, Rectangle Combo #4, Love #2 dies, Copic Sketch Markers, Prismacolor Pencils, white embossing powder, Cuttlebug embossing folder (Charles set)

For the Inspiration Challenge (IC698), we’re going to the Country Door & I chose THIS for my inspiration. That little pig really made me smile 😀

My card is pretty CAS. I used a stencil & the pink Distress inks to partially sponge the card front. I stamped the Easter piggy, masked him & used a straight mask across the ground & partially sponged the green inks upward from mask. After removing the masks, I colored everything & stamped the greeting. Here’s the inside & below it are the Copics I used.

Supplies:

Stamps: DRS Designs – Easter Ears Leonard Celebrate Easter (inside: Springtime Easter )
Paper:  Staples 110# white
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, Distress ink spun sugar, worn lipstick, twisted citron, mowed lawn
Accessories: Rubbernecker rounded stitched rectangles, Copic markers, Memory Box stencil, lg corner rounder

Such fun spring colors for today’s Color Challenge (CC729) on Splitcoast! They really are perfect for an Easter card..even if it’s a silly one.

This card is pretty CAS & all on one layer. The big bunny head image is one of my faves so I stamped him, drew some paws where I wanted them, then masked them & stamped the brick wall. With the masks still in place, I sponged in the sky then removed the masks & colored everything. The little Easter eggs (jelly bean image) & sign were fussy cut & added.

Here’s the inside & below it are the Copics I used.
