Congrats to Joanne, the newest Featured Stamper (FS642) on Splitcoast! She has a wonderful gallery & I was inspired by THIS patriotic card. I kept the Freedom theme & flag, but I used different stamps, different dies & changed the layout. And this Memorial Day, please take a moment to remember & give thanks to those that gave their lives to ensure our freedom.
For my card, I stamped the patriotic wave, multiple times (to get good coverage). A Misti is really handy for solid images like this. Since the ink I used isn’t technically for use w/ Copics, I heat set it then carefully colored in the red stripe & fussy cut the top edge. I did the same for the big heart shaped flag image. The cityscape & USA were die cut & I had to link the letters because I ran out of room to stretch them out. The greeting is 2 put together & I used a corner rounder on the rectangle.
Here’s the inside & below it are the Copics I used.

I have this card for the Splitcoast Color Challenge (CC694)using Red, White & Blue in honor of Independence Day! I think my patriotic colored RV is also a great representation of a favorite summertime activity…camping. I’ll tell you though..this RV is waaayyy more comfy & stylish than any camping I’ve ever done.
To make my RV, I put the image into my Misti, stamped, colored, over stamped then fussy cut it. I wanted to give the impression of a big sun behind it & hills for it to drive over. The blue edged hills were hand cut & sponged along the top edges. The greeting was added to the top portion of the Surprise Box insert die.
Below is the inside & next to it are the Copics I used.

Today’s Clean & Simple (CAS383) Challenge wants us to use Red, White & Blue. While this may not look as simple as some, I only colored the little pie & everything else is die cut, so pretty easy.
The piece of dp on the side & the half doily were leftovers so I used them as is. The pennant row & Patriotic pennants were stamped first w/ Memento then over stamped w/ a coordinating color of Versafine to get good coverage since they’re such solid images. After die cutting everything, it was just a matter of arranging it all.
Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.
