A fun, easy to make coffee themed card w/ adorable little owls & coffee printed paper. Perfect pick-me-up for a friend or relative who loves coffee.

We are visiting Bloons Pinterest Board for this week’s Inspiration Challenge (IC921) & I found THIS picture. I liked the colors so I used them for the basis of my card.

The owls were colored & die cut & I thought this cute coffee paper would work well behind them. The above view of the round cups reminded me of the balloons in the picture. I added very narrow dk brown layers behind the two panels in order to show off the detail edges of the dies.

The owls were popped up slightly & I added some sequins for a little sparkle.

Here are the Copics I used:

A big congrats to Heather, the newest Featured Stamper! She has wonderful, growing gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the tall go cup of coffee & used of patterned paper, but I used different dies, stamps, paper, left off the greenery/bow at the bottom & used a leftover red triangle in the corner.

For my card, I die cut parts of the Coffee & the Winter Cocoa & combined them for my tall cup. Stickles was added to the whipped cream on top. I had a triangular piece of crimson paper & added it to the corner of the holly paper then popped up the coffee cup on top. The lg holly was die cut out of white glitter paper & added next to the cup.

  • Pumpkin Spice

A big congrats to Leslie, the newest Featured Stamper (FS821) on Splitcoast! She has a wonderful gallery and after much browsing, I chose THIS card to case. I kept the gnome theme & cute layout, but used different images, dies & colors and made mine a fall card.

For my pumpkin spice gnome card, I stamped, colored and die cut the trio of cute gnomes and pumpkins. The greeting was die cut w/ a stitched circle die & popped up.  The white panel was already cut using a deckle rectangle and a large oval cut out of the center. I backed it w/ a larger rust colored rectangle that I ran thru w/ a circle pattern piercing die. The fall paper had just the right colors for my card so I added it behind & attached a few little falling leaves here & there.
