Today’s challenges on Splitcoast, TLC677 & CAS468 were combined for this card. The Technique was use a paper towel roll as a painting tool & the Clean & Simple was to have a bird.
So for the technique challenge, I took the cardboard center of a paper towel roll & cut a piece off then cut it up the middle & used only about half of it. After rolling this piece much tighter (for a smaller circumference) I taped it the slit the bottom as per the technique. After stamping w/ the different colors of paint, I let it dry. It wasn’t quite as pretty as I hoped it would be, so I just a section of it behind the toucan. The toucan was colored w/ Copics & die cut.Â
Here are the Copics I used for the toucan.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
