Welcome to June! And it’s time for the Splitcoaststampers Fan Club June Christmas Challenge! We have a year of new Christmas Challenges! You’ll need to be Fan Club member but that’s easy…just click the blue link to find out how. Bet you’re wondering what the challenge theme is..I’d love to tell you but you’ll have to go see for yourself.
For my fairly CAS Christmas card, I put the stripe bg image into my Misti, inked it first w/ Versamark, then w/ the crimson dye ink. I knew I wanted to heat emboss it so using the Versamark under the dye ink gives it a little more open time. I used a very sparkly red tinsel powder & IRL this card is soooo sparkly! The stripes are actually horizontal on the image so I turned my panel to have them diagonal, then turned it again to stamp them going the other way.
The big greeting was also embossed in the same manner & layered onto a slightly larger, red scallop circle. The white top section was cut w/ a center angled die & I added a red scallop die cut border under it, but the lg greeting circle covered up most of it.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
