Welcome to the July Challenge for Serendipity Stamps! This month the challenge is Monochrome..pick one color & use it. You can get all the details over on the Serendipity Challenge Blog. We have something new…a “Stamp of the Month”. Each month a different image will be 50% off. This month- it’s the Winter Doe. Be sure to check out the great deals on the Clearance Stamps, too. And as always, we have a have a gift certificate up for grabs to a random player.
For my card, the color I chose is a blue/gray. I wanted to use this wonderful rowboat & dock image & was looking thru some backgrounds I’ve made at various times when I came across a stack of Christmas card fronts I had saved. This little river w/ the snowy banks just seemed perfect for my boat. After I stamped it & colored w/ Copics I used the same into the window technique I posted last week HERE. Then I die cut the outer frame and stamped part of the greeting in the lower right. The top loop of the F went into the picture so I took a white gel pen and went over that loop to make it stand out.
The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25 and these are the Copics I used:
