Here is my card for this challenge.

The fabulous new die is available now & the gorgeous paper & open leaf dies will be available on 3/20/24 along w/ a big, beautiful new release you won’t want to miss.

The new Find Your Bliss wording was cut out of a brass colored metallic card stock & a second out of lt green metallic., I also cut a stitched oval out of the same paper. The shadow to the die was cut twice, once out of a dark green & once out of a lt green metallic. The lt green was cut in half to shadow the shadow. I also cut some of the open leaves out of a brushed bronze & the lt green metallic to tuck in under the oval. The beautiful marbled paper was used as my backdrop for the dies.

It all looks so shiny & pretty up close.

Here’s a partial product list. The rest will be added a little later.

  • Beach Girl

An easy, fun beach getaway card, wonderful for birthday, spring break, summer vacation or just to send to a friend. A little masking, sponging & some die cut images and done! Change the greeging or colors to customize for a special occasion.

A big congrats to Wanda, the newest Featured Stamper (FS891)! She has a really super gallery & after much browsing, I chose THIS card to case. I kept the layout, sponged half rectangle & trees to the side. I used different images, dies, colors & made mine summer or spring break themed rather than Christmas. I also added a narrow black layer behind the main panel.

My card is fairly easy. I used a rectangle mask to cover the outside edges & sponged the yellow & red inks inside, going from the bottom left corner up & in. I started w/ the yellow, then added the lightest pink, going to the darkest pink toward the inside left edge. The beach girl & bag were colored & die cut, the palm trees were colored & fussy cut. I also cut the small tree off & moved the trunk to the other side of the large tree for a better fit. The girl & trees were popped up just a bit.

Here are the Copics I used:

  • Tea Time

Perfect card for a tea lover or friend you haven’t seen in a while. The floral teapot stands out against the black & white lattice background. Just a few days, a bit of pretty paper & whatever other two colors you pick & you have yourself a card.

It’s my turn to host the Inspiration Challenge & we are visiting MacKenzie-Childs & their Pinterest Board where I found THIS picture. I liked the pink flowers against the black & white check. Since I didn’t have anything w/ black & white checks, I used a lattice die with some black & white inserts to give the impression of the pattern. The tea cup & teapot were die cut out of floral paper & also a pink paint chip. I wanted a couple of shades of pink & paint chips are great for this. I pieced the parts of the tea cup & teapot together, then popped them up to add some dimension.

They were attached to a fancy die cut oval & the greeting was cut out using one of the suitcase parts that happened to be the exact size I needed. Lastly, a little pearlized jewel was added to the teapot lid.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
