    Pink Wreath 01941

Welcome to the Our Daily Bread designs September Release! Wow, do we some fabulous images for you!

On my wreath card, I stamped the Holly Wreath with the bamboo ink and shaded the background holly w/ a lt green Copic marker. For the top images, I used a dk green Micron pen to outline them and make them stand out more. The image and the designer paper circle behind it were die cut with circle dies and added on top of an embossed white layer. On the larger designer paper layer, I added some scored lines at the bottom. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.

    Supplies:

Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs – Holly Wreath, Jingle Bells
    Paper: white, dp (Making Memories)
Ink: Memento bamboo leaves, rose bud
Accessories:  Copic markers, Spellbinders circle & pennant dies, Candi button, corner rounder, Sizzix circle frame embossing folder, stickles

    Pink Ornament 01953

For my pink ornament card, after cutting a large background piece out of two sided pink designer paper, I die cut the fancy ornament out of the reverse side. I stamped the greeting on white and die cut the same ornament shape around it, then trimmed away all but the center greeting section and attached it on top of the pink version. The corners (from the same set) were also die cut out of the dark pink and since some of the paper had white streaked areas, I used a white Permapaque marker to add them to all of the corners.

The pinecone was stamped on white and fussy cut to add on top of the ornament. Another solid ornament die was used to die cut the white backing ornament. I added some white dots on the dk pink background to help tie it all together. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25.

    Supplies:

Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs – Ornaments 2
    Paper: white, dp (unknown)
    Ink: Memento rose bud
Accessories: ODBD Fancy Ornament dies,  Spellbinders 2011 Heirloom ornament dies, white Permapaque marker

On my card, I went with both polka dots and gingham. I stamped this beautiful Holly with Frame image, colored it with Copics and fussy cut it. The red panel was stamped with the greeting first in the white ink then overstamped with the black ink. It’s attached to a vanilla panel embossed with the Swiss dots then to a gingham piece of designer paper.

Congrats to Heidi, the Featured Stamper on Splitcoast (FS341)! What a big, beautiful gallery she has and I chose THIS card of hers to case. I kept the framed layout with sentiment below, but I used different images, different colors and I made mine a Christmas card.

After I colored the beautiful candle image from DRS Designs w/ Copics, I had to do a little out of the box Nestie technique so the edges of the holly wouldn’t be cut off by the rectangle die. And on the fancy red layer behind it, I used the Nestie resizing technique to make a rectangle out of a square die.

The greeting was die cut using the same die I used for its red tag shape then I cut around the greeting and attached it to the red tag. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50 and these are the Copics I used to color the image
