Today, I have an easy card using only a few dies, a stencil and a floral image. The flowers are a two part image..the outline and the solid images to ink that fill in the color for you. A little stenciling on the background and a gold twig wreath to surround the flowers.
A big congrats to Rochelle, the newest Featured Stamper FS933! She had a fabulous scrapbook page gallery and it’s fun to turn a page into a card. I chose THIS page to case. I kept the goldish color wreath on the right side w/ some patterning on the left side & greeting below, but I put the flowers in the wreath instead of a picture, and turned mine into a birthday card instead of a Christmas page.
For my card, I put the white card stock in my Misti & stamped the black outline first. Then I lined up the solid flower & leaf insides & inked them w/ a few colors of red & yellow for the flowers & 3 shades of green for the leaves. I used the circle mask to cover the flowers & lightly stenciled the flourish first w/ the mocha ink then w/ a little galaxy gold Brilliance. A dull gold metallic was used for the twig wreath & I also backed the main panel w/ brushed gold. The greeting was stamped & die cut & because it’s all on one line, I cut it apart to fit on the right side.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
