Penguin Summer


It’s my turn to host the Splitcoast Featured Stamper Challenge (FS802) & a big congrats to Maggie! She has a wonderful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the 3 windows & the sunny yellow & bright pink colors, but used different images & dies & made mine a slimline card w/ a stenciled bg.

For my summer card, I used a sunburst stencil & a couple of yellow inks to sponge in the sun rays. Since the stencil is a 6″square, I had to move it to cover the entire front. I used a reverse circle mask to sponge in the center of the sun. The penguins were stamped, colored & die cut then arranged on top of the blue waves I cut to go behind the yellow window frame. The greeting was stamped in the center window.
