A big congrats to Cindy, the newest Featured Stamper (FS790) on Splitcoast! She has such a lovely gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I used similar colors & kept the flowers, but turned mine vertical, used die cut flowers instead of stamped & made mine a just because instead of a Christmas card.
For my mini slimline card, I die cut the white panel w/ a diamond quilt cover plate & backed it w/ a piece of coral. On the coral square on top, I did a technique I haven’t done in in a long time. I had a thick, square block of fun foam & I heated it w/ my heat tool. If you try this, you have to keep it moving & not get too close to the foam. Heat it for a about 30 seconds or so then immediately press it firmly to the surface you want to impress. In my case, it was the same cover die. Here’s a pic of it after I impressed it & inked it.
On my card, I inked it w/ the 4 Color Fuse inks then stamped it onto plain white card stock. I trimmed it & backed it w/ a square stitched die. The flowers were also die cut & inked w/ the same inks, & I added some glitter to the flower tops.
The greeting was stamped, fussy cut & added to a small label tag. The coral layer was made by cutting two & placing on top & one below.
Thanks so much for stopping by!Â
