Autumn Birches


For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC829) we’re visiting a Pinterest Umbrella Board where I found THIS lovely umbrella. 

To make my slimline card, I taped down the tree section of the 2 part stencil & sponged in the blues for the bg. The stencil masks out only the birches so they stay white, or whatever color base you’re using. After removing it, I taped down the second stencil part that gives the dark lines on the trees & used the darkest gray ink to sponge those. I also used a few gray Copics along the sides of the birches to add a little dimension to them. The leaves were all stamped, colored & die cut w/ their coordinating dies. Some were popped up w/ foam & others were attached flat. The greeting was die cut w/ a tag die & to get the same edge on both sides, I cut it half way, turned the die around, matched it up & cut the other half.
