For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC789), we’re headed to one of the Tim Holtz Pinterest Boards. I chose THIS as my inspiration. I really love all the bright colors & long layout.

For my card, I die cut the city skyline & a bunch of the trees then watercolored them. The city didn’t stand out as much as I would have liked so I added a slight black outline to the top. The city part is attached to the back of the white frame then I elevated it w/ some fun foam. The trees were attached to the background, then the cityscape w/ frame were attached on top.

  • Julie, your inspiration that you take from photos really floors me. You are able to completely design something unique, and different, while still resembling the inspiration. That is what I love about your work. You are always an inspiration to me.
