Slimline Adventure

For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC789), we’re headed to one of the Tim Holtz Pinterest Boards. I chose THIS as my inspiration. I really love all the bright colors & long layout.

For my card, I die cut the city skyline & a bunch of the trees then watercolored them. The city didn’t stand out as much as I would have liked so I added a slight black outline to the top. The city part is attached to the back of the white frame then I elevated it w/ some fun foam. The trees were attached to the background, then the cityscape w/ frame were attached on top.

  1. Julie, your inspiration that you take from photos really floors me. You are able to completely design something unique, and different, while still resembling the inspiration. That is what I love about your work. You are always an inspiration to me.
