Blue Birthday Daisies

A big Congrats to Monique, the newest Featured Stamper (FS680) on Splitcoast! She has a fabulous gallery & it was hard to pick, but I finally decided on THIS card to case. I kept the blue flowers theme & intricate bg cut out, but I used different images & dies & left off a few layers.

After coloring the blue daisies, I die cut them w/ a rounded stitched rectangle die. I used my out of the box die cutting technique to keep from cutting off the petals on the left side.  On the white bg, I die cut the left side w/ a circle lattice die & added just a few of the centers back in then backed it w/ navy blue. The butterfly was colored w/ the same colors & die cut w/ its matching die & I split the greeting..white embossing half on navy & stamping the rest on the white bg. I used a word window punch on the “Happy” part.

Here are the Copics I used. (I also used a few Prismacolor Pencils in similar colors on top.)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
