For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC738), we have a lovely place called Ferris Wheels & Carousels. I was inspired by THIS picture.
After I colored 2 of the single Columbine flowers, I fussy cut the one on the left & attached it to the other one. There was a lot of empty space there, so I thought the double bloom looked best. I split the greeting in two to fit the space & added a strip of textured green down the right side. I used my die resizing technique to make the flower panel narrower.Â
All in all, a simple layout that lets these lovely flowers take center stage! Here are the Copics I used to color the flowers. Just so you know, I usually a little Prismacolor pencil on top of the Copics to even out the blend & add extra depth to the shadows & highlights. If you do this, pick colors similar to the Copics you use. Â
