Golden Christmas

Happy New Year & welcome to 2020! I made this for the Splitcoaststampers Fan Club January Christmas Challenge. We have a brand new year of Christmas Challenges!  You’ll need to be Fan Club member but that’s easy…just click the blue link to find out how. Bet you’re wondering what the challenge theme is..I’d love to tell you but you’ll have to go see for yourself.
For my card, I started w/ a die cut piece of tan c/s, then took a wide, flat paintbrush & dry brushed a combo of white, white glimmer & gold glimmer acrylic paints vertically down the panel. When it dried, I put it into my Misti & stamped the wood bg first w/ the desert sand ink then again using Brilliance lightning black.  The ivory circle has the greeting gold embossed on it & edged w/ a gold leaf pen. The dk green circle was stamped w/ the lovely wreath image (& yes..it was a little hard to see the black ink on the dk green bg!) & colored w/ Prismacolor Pencils. I love the gold Prisma pencil on the dk green! I cut around a few of the gold berries & lifted them on top of the greeting circle. A couple of die cut holly were added under the circles. I thought the white card front looked a little too bright so I sponged it w/ Distress antique linen before attaching everything.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
