Birthday Greenery

We have a guest host for the Inspiration Challenge today…& I know you’ll recognize her. SmilynStef is our host & she’s chosen a fun site…SNURK. I was immediately drawn to THIS picture & chose it for my inspiration.

For my birthday card,  I die cut the 2 part leaves then sponged the open parts with the mowed lawn & pine needle inks. The solid piece underneath, was sponged with the citron, pistachio & evergreen colors.  I sponged the die cut wishes the same way.

Here’s a look at the inside. I also included another picture below this showing what I used for this frame. I had a piece of  copy paper under the leaves when I sponged them & it left this wonderful sheet of color. I folded it in half & glued it together, then die cut the frames.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
