Gnome Matter What

It’s my pleasure to host this week’s Inspiration Challenge (IC687)on Splitcoast! So we’re headed over to All Posters. I really love colorful posters..especially vintage ones, and for my card, I was inspired by THIS poster.

I just rec’d these super cute new gnome images & couldn’t wait to take them for a test drive. This card really wasn’t hard & it’s all on one layer. There are only 4 images  (besides the greeting) the gnome w/ toadstools, the snail w/ toadstool, the rocks & the tall trees. The only one I masked was the gnome in order to stamp the trees behind him. Everything else is just coloring & I did all the background coloring first before I colored the images.

Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used (the bottom right one is an E31).

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Stamps: DRS Designs: Sleeping Gnome , Snail Toadstool , Wonderful Day , Double Tall Pines , Village Rocks/Pond(inside:Toadally Wonderful)
Paper: Staples 110# white
Ink:Memento tuxedo black
Accessories: Copic Sketch Markers, Rubbernecker Rectangle Stitch dies

  1. I was so intrigued by your card that I had to come and have a look. Stunning work Julie … the way you have made the Copics look like watercolour is amazing. I am new to Copics, but if I ever figure them out, this is the look I want.

  2. This is stunning. Your colouring really caught my attention the minute I saw your card on FB. You are so talented Julie.
