Such a cool, outdoor site Anne chose for the Inspiration Challenge! I was inspired by THIS shirt & I thought it would make a good Halloween project for the idea I wanted to try.
A while ago, I saw a technique using a piece of burlap, stuck to styrofoam & using paint to stamp w/ it. I thought I could use it to make a cool mummy card. I found some wide burlap ribbon, used double sided tape to stick it to styrofoam then brushed it w/ combo of white & antique white paint before stamping it onto black card stock. I did this several times, leaving a spot to put the googlie eyes. The little mummy was stamped, colored & fussy cut before adding to a piece of white c/s. For the ivory piece, I used a stitched rectangle die to cut it, then angled the die to cut the right side into a point.
Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
