Autumn Splendor

It’s my turn to host the Splitcoast Featured Stamper Challenge (FS606), & I chose Preethi! She has a really lovely gallery & I chose THIS to case. I kept the frame & layout but changed mine to fall card, used leaves instead of flowers & added a watercolor bg & some gold embossing.

For my autumn card, I inked up a watercolor bg image w/ several Distress ink pads, misted w/ water then stamped onto a die cut piece of Neenah white. After drying it, I stamped a splatter image w/ gold ink & heat embossed w/ gold powder. I have to say..this particular gold embossing powder is fabulous! I’ve tried a lot of them but this one is a very detailed, very shiny mirror gold. Anyway, I did the bg for the leaves the same way then stamped them w/ the black ink & die cut w/ their matching dies. A little gold embossed splatter was also added to the leaves.

Here’s a look at the inside.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. What a beautiful card. I love the distressing of your leaves. I went to check out the gold embossing powder you told us about but it’s sold out. Must be loved by many.
