For my clean & simple card, I made a water color background using Distress reinkers, on some lightweight watercolor paper. There wasn’t a science to it..I just floated in some fall colors & let them mingle & run until I was happy w/ it then I used a heat tool to dry it & stop the colors from running any more. I put it into my Misti and stamped the Sweet Gum branch randomly. Originally, I was going to fussy cut some of the branches to use, but I decided I liked it just as is. Since the paper was fairly lightweight, I glued it to a piece of 110# card stock then die cut it.  The greeting was stamped & I attached it to the card.

Love the use of the Distressed inks. Looks very fallish. Fits the stamps perfectly.

Love that single layer card Julie! Oh this makes me want fall so much! We have a sweetgum tree in our front yard – always a beautiful yellow! People ask if I hate the prickly balls but why??? I love everything about that tree as I do about your card.
