Season’s Snowflakes

I made this for the Splitcoaststampers Fan Club May Christmas Challenge! I’ve been having so much fun being a part of the challenge this year & the bonus is I’ll have a bunch of Christmas cards finished in plenty of time for Christmas this year. It’s a lot of fun & I hope you’ll head on over & join us. You’ll need to be Fan Club member but that’s easy…just click the blue link to find out how.

For my CAS Christmas card, I put a piece of sand colored card stock into my Misti then stamped the image. The holly & greeting are all one image, so it’s easy to use. First I colored the holly w/ Copics then did a Prismacolor pencil overlay & added some white inside the lines above & below the greeting. Here’s where the Misti is invaluable..lines tend to disappear when you use Prismas, so I stamped it again to bring them back. I masked the holly greeting & stamped the snowflakes w/ white pigment ink & heat set to dry. A few snowflakes were punched out of white glitter paper to add some sparkle.

Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
