Welcome to the Feb #1 Blog Hop for Serendipity Stamps!
If you arrived here from Miriam’s blog, you’re in the right place..if not, you may want to head over there first.
My Easter card turned out different from the way I planned it. I had a lovely background I had die cut the Bunny out of & I was going to use the same iridescent white as the rest of the card to fill in the flowers. Then I decided I liked just the iridescent white bunny the best. So I’ll save the other bunny for another card. In case you’re wondering, this is the original bunny.
The Easter Basket was gold embossed onto the iridescent white c/s & I used a few Tombow (water based) markers to color in the eggs. I put a half circle window layer on top of the basket because w/ the bunny in front, it looked a little busy w/ the basket behind him. The top of the bow was fussy cut to allow it to be lifted above the top layer.
Here’s a look at the inside. The basket & a few flowers were stamped w/ Brilliance gold for a soft look. No greeting…I realized I don’t have an Easter greeting, so I’ll have to hand write it.

WOW Julie, what a wonderful way to use that pretty basket! Thanks for the idea of using the iridescent paper – never ever thought of that! Beautiful card.
Cute bunny die!
Both of your bunnies are beautiful, I do think the white one works best on your card design, Love the gold embossing. Thanks for the inspiration
Wow! I love how you used only part of the stamp, the soft colors and gold embossing. So pretty!
So pretty. Love this bunny and the gold embossing.
Embossing with the gold and using the iridescent white gives your card a sophisticated appearance! Great card.
Love the card.

What an adorable card. I especially love your bunny. The coloured up one is nice too.
I suppose this is not Peter Rabbit, but he/she is a cute fellow! ?
Love how the bow goes over the
die cut frame. The bunny is
so pretty. Like the first
one too – his darker color
really shows off the white
flowers. thanks for sharing

I love your white bunny and the way you’ve framed your pretty Easter basket, Julie! You’ve done a wonderful job of watercoloring those eggs and I love the way you’ve framed them too! Your first bunny is artsy and fun and will look wonderful on another card!
