Welcome to the North Coast Creations Feb Release! We have some super cute, really fun images for you this month! You can see all the new images & cards made w/ them over on the NCC/ODBD Blog.
My first card was made using the Stay Cool set. I just love the little sunglasses on the popsicle. I added the POP on the star above the greeting because that’s what we’ve always called my dad & I’m saving this one for Father’s Day. My pop is the coolest & that’s a fact! The center pop was stamped in black, colored & fussy cut. The other 2 were stamped in gray & colored. I added stickles to the center pop & distress stickles to the other 2. I really wanted the Coolest Pop to stand out! The Snowflake paper really adds to the frostiness.
Here’s the inside & Copic colors.
My next card uses the Olive You set.
Aren’t these little olives cute? They make a really sweet Valentine. I was going for a vintage Valentine look w/ the tag & big heart. Remember those you used to give out in grade school? The olives were stamped onto a sparkle fleck lime green c/s then colored first w/ Copics then overlaid w/ Prismacolor pencils. The narrow borders were colored to match & I added the little scallop edging.
The 3rd new set is Thanks a Latte.
For this cutie, I stamped him on a die cut tag then I used the Umbrella dies to make a topper for the tag. After I cut the two patterned papers w/ the bottom of the umbrella, I attached them to the tag & cut the top of the tag again so it would fit the tag shape. The greeting fit perfectly inside the Mini Stitched Heart die, though I did fussy cut the striped layer.
The 4th set is Stuck on You.
Isn’t this Peanut pair cute? I wanted a big heart cutout behind them so I put the circle w/ them off to the side & cut the left edge even w/ the top layer. This is another set that makes a wonderful, vintage feeling Valentine card.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
