Welcome to the November Challenge for Serendipity Stamps!
This month the challenge is Add Texture! You can get all the details over on the Serendipity Challenge Blog. November’s “Stamp of the Month” is 50% off & this month- it’s the Snow Person w Wreath! Be sure to check out the Yard Sale items and the great deals on the Clearance Stamps! And as always, we have a gift certificate up for grabs to a random player.
To make my Christmas card, I put the Poinsettia Corner image into my Misti, stamped & colored it w/ Copics, then added a little Copic opaque white pigment to the window sills. After it dried, I added a little stickles on top of the white pigment, waited for it to dry, then overstamped the image to bring back the details. I resized a rectangle die to make it smaller then used a stitched line die around the edges. The Welcome (love the font on this!) & Christmas words were put together to make the greeting. All of the designer paper pieces were left over strips & rectangles I put together as you see. For the texture, I added an embossed white layer for the upper right side & also a little more texture in the die cut grosgrain ribbon piece & embossed double bow. A few sparkly crystals finish it off.
Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.
Please be sure to comment on all the DT Blogs..it will be so appreciated & also increase your chances of winning!
