Weekly-Favorite
The Mix Challenge (MIX165) is winged things & to have at least 2 different kinds of media. For my card, I used ink, Copic markers & embossing powder.

To make my hexagons, I stamped & heat embossed using a pale yellow powder, onto black card stock. Some were embossed w/ dots, some w/ a honeycomb & some w/ stripes. They were then die cut using either the Spellbinders hexagons or the MFT honeycomb dies. The white front was die first w/ matting basic, then cut w/ a stitched rectangle & a black layer inserted between them.  The greeting stamped & the other two little bees were stamped on a scrap (the right facing bee is actually a mirror image) & fussy cut. The hexagons were attached, with some of them elevated.

Here’s a look at the inside.
