A couple of fun challenges today on Splitcoast! I love the CAS (CAS269) color inspiration picture & though I have a few layers, it really is CAS. I did have a couple of false starts with this one & the original plan was a tad simpler, but it is what it is. And I had fun trying the ribbon flower for the TLC challenge (TLC478).
I inked the lavender image w/ elderberry & n. pine ink and stamped it on w/c paper. I added just a touch of color, very quickly, then die cut it. The other layers were also die cut, so I didn’t even have to think about it. On the rectangle I did do some piercing & the word “lavender” was stamped down one side. The sheer ribbon was white & I tinted it w/ a rose quartz Copic marker.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

This is so elegant Julie. Love your coloring and the little flower is so dainty!
I haven’t done a lot with my blog yet, but I wanted to know what oval die you used. It looked like one that has piercing. beautiful card.
Hi Donna,
Thanks for your comment! The long oval w/the piercing is part of the Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles set. The die does all that piercing, too!
