Happy Wednesday
This is for today’s Sketch Challenge on Splitcoast (SC405).
The sketch today was so easy to work with! I flipped it so I could have the sentiment on the left. Just seemed to fit together better that way. The sentiment and acorn/leaf image are from DRS Designs.
The background was done using the reverse of die cut leaves as a stencil and sponging the ink on thru this reverse mask. Basically, all I did was die cut the various leaves in a piece of scrap paper then used the reverse (lg paper w/ leaf cut outs) as stencil. I added some ink splatter and spritzed it w/ a gold mist, then drew the border and added the out of the box sentiment. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25.
Thanks so much for stopping by!Â
