It’s my pleasure to host the Splitcoast Featured Stamper Challenge (FS702) this week, so a big congrats to Debra! She has a really fun & colorful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I liked the row of images & bright colors so I kept those. I used dies instead of nutcrackers, changed it to a slimline layout & used different colors.

After die cutting the margarita/daiquiri glasses, I used a colorful shaving cream background for the actual drinks inside the glasses. I added some stickles for the salt/sugar around the rims & added them to the die cut layers.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Supplies:

Stamps: Rubbernecker Stamps: Slow Down (greeting)
Paper:  Staples 110# white, raspberry, turquoise, lime (The Paper Cut)
Ink: Memento tuxedo black
Accessories:  Rubbernecker Stamps:Slimline Scallop w/ Holes , Oval Stitch,Margarita/Daiquiri,Slimline 3 Scallop Circles Inset (new!) dies, stickles

For the Inspiration Challenge (IC763) on Splitcoast, we’re headed to a gardening site. So many choices but I was inspired by THIS picture.

After coloring & die cutting the panel, I split it in two & removed a section in the middle. I didn’t have the color of glitter paper I wanted, so I took some gold glitter wrapping paper, die cut it, then ran a black Copic over it to darken it. I used some of to edge the white panels, make a deckled strip to put on top of the orangey sponged panel, a larger piece to back the entire panel. It’s all attached to an orange slimline card. A few jet gemstones were added to finish.

Here are the Copics I used for the flower:

A big Congrats to Karen, the newest Featured Stamper (FS701) on Splitcoast! She has such a fun, colorful gallery & I chose THIS to case. I kept the triple image areas & slimline layout, but used different images, colors & dies.

I’m having a lot of fun w/ these new slimline dies & especially this triple panel scallop die. So many possibilities for it. On this card, I used a cute set of bunny, bear & stars. I used a moon die instead of the moon image because the image was just too big to fit inside the center panel. I added the blue inset panel behind it & a couple of narrow blue shelves below the bunny & bear.

Here are the Copic colors I used:
