The Technique Challenge (TLC571) is naked stamping..not as risqué at it sounds..it actually means “no coloring”…just plain stamping of the image onto a background.
For my card, I pulled out a watercolored bg I had in my stash & since it has most of the colors of the rainbow, I thought it would be perfect with this greeting. I put the stitched white panel in my Misti & stamped the Everything Irish image. Then I tacked the die cut watercolor panel in place on the white panel & stamped it again. I added the greeting above it & a few punched gold four leaf clovers.
Here’s a look at the inside with another fun greeting & some leftovers from the front.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Welcome to the Our Daily Bread designs February Release! We have some beautiful images & fabulous dies for you this month!
My first card shows off the gorgeous new Thank You die as well as a host of favorites including the Asters, Posies, and Butterfly. After using the largest Flourished Star Pattern die for striped layer, I used the Double Stitched Rectangles to cut it again as well as for the peachy layer. For the center element, I used some ivory along w/ the other 2 papers to cut 3 sizes of squares then rounded 2 opposite corners of each before stacking them. On the 2 top ivory rounded squares, I ran them thru the embossing cycle using a piece of cross stitch canvas to add a little texture.
Two sizes of Asters & 1 small Posy were die cut and stacked to add on top of the center. I used just the lacy part of the Fancy Fritillary die to add beside the flower. I stamped part of one of the greetings from the With Much Thanks set on a piece of ivory then die cut using the large leaf from the Pretty Posies set. The Thank You die was cut twice & stacked for a little dimension.
Here’s a look at the inside.

My second card features a pretty pastel Easter basket. The basket from last year’s Basket of Blessings now has a matching die! So if you snagged one last spring, you’re in luck! If not, you can still get it along w/ the die. To make mine, I put the basket image in my Misti, stamped it w/ Memento onto some of the pastel flower paper from the Easter Card Collection (I used the same piece of printed paper for the die cut bow), then added some shading using the Copics. After, I stamped over it w/ the Versafine to really make the details pop, then I die cut it. All the lacy & plain Easter eggs were die cut using the Easter Egg dies & different pieces from the Pastel Paper pack.
I used one of plaids & a minty green piece for the large background layers, frame & Happy Easter die cut. I added some flowers, the grass & bow & my Easter card was all finished!
Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used for the basket.

Welcome to the February Challenge for Serendipity Stamps!
This month the challenge is Anything Goes! You can get all the details over on the Serendipity Challenge Blog. We also have a new “Stamp of the Month”. Each month a different image is 50% off & this month- it’s the Tandem Bicycle Set. Be sure to check out the great deals on the Clearance Stamps! And as always, we have a gift certificate up for grabs to a random player.
Since anything goes and I always need a ton of birthday cards for March (just around the corner!), I used this fabulous new Birthday die which happens to go perfectly w/ the Happy die & the Reverse Balloon die (I used some of the positive balloons cuts) I already have. I die cut the red stripe layer & the white topper & my first thought was to split the white panel in two & add the Birthday in the middle. Then after die cutting the Birthday, I liked how it looked left with the upper portion of the white but with the lower section removed, so I left it. I added a couple of piece of card stock behind it to elevate it a bit from the red stripe paper. I die cut some of the balloons out of the red stripe & added them w/ some of the confetti & added them next to the double stacked Happy.
Here’s a look at the inside, continuing w/ the die cuts.
