We are so excited today to be posting a special Birthday Wish to Our Daily Bread designs owner … Kelley Holland! This is a very special birthday for Kelley, as it’s the BIG 50!!!Â
For my Birthday Card to Kelley, I’m using the fabulous Path of Life set. I knew it would be wonderful paired with the always terrific ODBD Exclusive Window Die by Spellbinders.
Â
Â
The scene was colored with Copics and I attached the die cut window on top. I elevated it slightly to add some depth. For the background, I embossed some Williamsburg blue card stock I had in my stash with a Quickutz stripe label folder. I added a border embossed w/ a Cuttlebug border. The same border was used on the window sill piece. The flowers were made w/ hydrangea, small sun and small daisy punches. The punched tea cup was colored w/ Copics and added just because… Under the window I stamped the birthday greeting and added the curtains.
Â

Wow- I love the detail and color you put into your scene background. The window design is so inviting. I especially love the textured detail behind it all– it really makes this card feel rich.
Beautiful card for Kelley, she should have a very blessed day.
Could hardly wait to see what you would create …. all roads lead home, just a great scene looking through this window, and I like that cuppa (would be coffee for me) in the corner. At 50 Kelly needs supplements for her energy LOL, couldn’t resist, she is still a baby.
