For my autumn card, I colored the lovely image w/ Copics, then die cut the Leaves Reverse across the corner & inserted leaves I die cut out of patterned paper. I didn’t care for the blank spots the leaves left at the edges so I die cut a narrow frame out of another pattern in the paper collection & attached it on top & added a rust layer underneath. The greeting was die cut out of the rust & I used a couple of dk brown Copics to shade the bottom part of it.

Isn’t this Kites Reverse die wonderful? I love that it’s all one piece & does the partial swirls as well. I die cut it into the Recollections heavy wt c/s…although it says it’s 110# it’s way heavier than the other 110# c/s. I wanted to be able to pull up the swirls slightly w/o worrying about it bending or tearing. I had a watercolor bg I made ages ago w/ blues & greens & a little iridescent medium (very sparkly IRL) & I loved the colors but wasn’t crazy about the overall look of it. So just using bits & pieces behind the kites was the perfect solution. I backed it w/ a very fine, smooth glitter c/s & let it show thru around the edges & under the kite tails. All that was left was to stamp the greeting & add a few sequins.

Here’s a look at the inside using a few leftover glitter kite parts.

To make my fall card, I put a piece of ivory card stock into my Misti & stamped the Tree Frame w/ the Kaleidacolor rainbow ink pad a couple of times. I used a water brush to drag the colors into the image then stamped over it w/ the vintage photo oxide ink. I ended up fussy cutting the trees & attaching them to die cut piece of ivory where I stamped the tree frame again a couple of times w/ the Kpad (to add a colored outline). The greeting was stamped w/ the Versafine ink & a couple of leaves from the Remember To set were fussy cut & added. On the bg rectangles, I stamped the Wood Grain Bg onto ivory using the oxide ink then sponged some of the antique linen & vintage photo Distress inks onto it.
