Tractor Birthday

For the Free for All Challenge (F4A424) on Splitcoast, we are to make a masculine card. So I have a fun little brown tractor card that I think fits the bill.

For my card, I used the fun I Dig You set. I brown embossed the image on a tan piece of designer paper and fussy cut it. On the brown patterned paper, I used the small stars die (from the Sparkling Stars dies) a number of times across the lower right corner then placed another piece of patterned paper behind it.

Easter Ducks

Such a cute site for the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC642)!After a lot of browsing, I chose THIS for my inspiration. I liked the sweet little duck & all the Easter eggs & I needed an Easter card so it was perfect.

For my Easter card today, the baby ducks were stamped, colored & die cut, and I had to do a little out of the box on the grass along the way. The large green bg started out white but I sponged Distress & Distress oxide inks onto it, splattered it & also stamped the Splatter Bg on it in blues, greens & finally white. The white splatter was heat embossed w/ white powder & I left an area at the bottom w/o too much on it so I could add the greeting. I was going for that speckled egg look on the bg.

Spring Flower Mail

Just a quick card for the Color Challenge (CC679) on Splitcoast today. The little flower image was colored w/ Copics then die cut into a square along w/ the yellow square behind it. The large yellow bg was heat embossed w/ white powder using a bigger daisy image.

For the blue layer, I die cut it into a square then used a postage stamp die to emboss it. A little yellow flower border was die cut & added down the side w/ some white brad centers.
