A big congrats to Aimeslee, the newest Featured Stamper (FS746) on Splitcoast. She has a lovely gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the layout (for the most part) & the embossed bg, but I used different dies, colors & a different embossing folder.Â
For my Father’s Day card, I started by die cutting all the tool in red & mirror silver then putting them together. The jeans pocket & bg are some really old dp I had & it was a little too gray, so I sponged on some blue ink. For the pocket, I cut it first w/ a stitched square then took an angled border die across the bottom. I used a gold gel pen to create the “thread” stitching & added a piece of cardboard under the pocket & tucked the tools inside. The measuring tape is a piece of twill ribbon that I used a red Copic to color. The silver bg was embossed w/ a metal plate folder & I used a dk gray Copic to add some antiquing to it.
Thanks so much for stopping by!Â
