ODBD Anything Goes Challenge!

Welcome to Our Daily Bread designs Shining the Light Challenge, ODBDSLC271!
And the challenge is Anything Goes!
This challenge will go until the 13th of March at 8 pm EST.  We will offer a random prize of a $15 gift certificate toward stamps in the store.  One individual will also be spotlighted for the Shining the Light challenge.  On March 15 we will have an Anniversary challenge.

For my Anything Goes card, I’m using the just released Superstar set along w/ the new Double Stitched Stars dies. These dies go perfectly with the Sparkling Stars dies, so if you’ve already snagged them, you’re in luck. If not, go ahead and grab those when you get the others..trust me, you’re going to be using these a lot…birthdays, graduation, Christmas..the list is unending!

The multi color bg was done on a large manila tag using the Wrinkle Free Distress technique. I used the Distress inks one at a time and let the colors dry in between so they wouldn’t get muddy. When I finished, I used one of the smaller Double Stitched Rectangles to cut it then I die cut the star shapes & added the white outline stars inside the openings. Behind the star openings, I added a lime green star w/ the star outline gold embossed & the gold embossed greeting on vellum behind the largest star.

A few more die cut & gold embossed stars were sprinkled around on the rest of the die cut stitched rectangle layers.

Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs – Superstar (retired), (Rock Star – inside (retired))
Paper: white, citron, teal, manila tag, vellum
Ink:  Encore ultimate metallic gold pigment, Distress inks in worn lipstick, evergreen bough, twisted citron, mermaid lagoon, ripe persimmon
Accessories: ODBD Flourished Star Pattern, Double Stitched Stars, Double Stitched Rectangles, Sparkling Stars, Rectangles dies,  Misti, detail gold embossing powder, craft sheet

    I LOVE how your bg turned out and the colors are so beautiful and Eastery!! What a great birthday card for anyone this time of year!! I love those stars and I’m glad you showed the other view to see how pretty the gold embossing is!! Love it!
