Congrats, Kay, who is today’s Featured Stamper at SCS. I chose Orange Zest to case. I changed the images, the colors, left off the sentiment and ribbon. I added the spotlight circle and the butterfly punch and a few more layers. I kept her wonderful nature scene theme and layout.
First I stamped the background images w/ white pigment ink and heat set. Then I stamped the rest of the images w/ the black ink onto white c/s. I stamped one section again on a separate piece for the faux spotlight. Then I sponged on all the blue inks. I used the nestie circle to do my spotlight then traced and cut out a black and also white circle mats for it and attached over the original. The butterfly is a punch. I used a white gel pen to highlight the flowers.
The image is layered a couple of time. The turq. mat was stamped w/ neptune ink then layered a couple more times. The sentiment was stamped w/ the white Stazon onto a piece of acetate and attached w/ brads.

Loved the bright pink bedding for today’s Inspiration Challenge at SCS! I chose Zoe Quilt. This also works for yesterday’s LSC challenge to have a leaf be the focus of your card.
I stamped the leaf and colored it w/ markers then outlined a little w/ a dark green gel pen. I penciled a box around it and cut the box up to my image then finished off the out of the box parts w/ scissors. It’s edged w/ a marker and layered a few times, the last pink layer I used the cb swiss dots folder on.
I cut little boxes for the bottom row and added two punched circles then some tiny flower brads to mimic the patchwork look of the quilt. These are attached to dp then to a pink card.
Stamps: Rubber Stampede
Paper: cream confetti, green galore, regal rose, dp (Paper Studio)
Ink: Ancient Page sage
Accessories: markers, foam tape, flower brads, circle punches, green gel pen, Cuttlebug swiss dots folder
For this card, I’m combining Tues. color challenge (choc. chip, pink pirouette and kiwi kiss) and today’s Ways to Use It (one word stamp). I found this dp in a Christmas stack from at least a couple of years ago. The colors seemed perfect so that’s where this card started.
This paper is definitely on the cute side and I don’t have many cute stamps, since I don’t usually do a lot of “cute”. Somehow I misplaced the stamp I wanted to use so I used this snow globe set (Scrap Pack) instead. It says 2004, so I’ve had it awhile and this is the first time I’ve used it.
I stamped and embossed the base of the snow globe w/ the pink pastel ep on choc chip c/s. I made a reverse mask and stamped and embossed the snowflakes (Stampcraft). I traced a 4″ circle onto white c/s and also onto a piece of acetate w/ the black sharpie and cut both out. I stamped the tree and colored it w/ markers, then stamped the snow w/ the silver ink and embossed it w/ the winter wonderland ep. I cut out two of the elves from the dp and attached them to 3 layers of c/s then cut them out again. This gives them a little dimension but not as much as foam tape would. I put the acetate over the globe and attached it w/ the star brad at the top and two little brads near the base.
I stamped and embossed the Joy (CMC) w/ the pink pastel ep onto the choc chip c/s and cut out. Then layered it a couple of times w/ the ribbon running thru it. I drew the frame around the 6 x 6 dp w/ a brown marker. I attached the snow globe onto a couple of layers of c/s then to the card. Three embossed and cut out snowflakes are attached below the greeting w/ foam tape. Dots were done w/ a pink souffle pen and a brown marker.
