Welcome to the June Challenge for Serendipity Stamps!
This month the challenge is Die Cutting You can get all the details over on the
Serendipity Challenge Blog.     June’s  “Stamp of the Month” is 50% off  & this month- it’s Love is Patient!. Be sure to check out the great deals on the Clearance Stamps! And as always, we have a gift certificate up for grabs to a random player.
    Ferris Wheel IMG02777
For my Ferris Wheel shaker card, I put the image in my Misti, stamped w/ Memento, colored w/ Copics then over stamped w/ Versafine. I die cut the entire panel w/ one of the matting basics, then used a stitched rectangle die for the inside. I had to do a little into the window around the ferris wheel by determining which areas to trim around & lift above the die to keep from cutting them off. I used a clear envelope for the shaker part..sprinkled a tiny bit of glitter & added the sequins, then taped the edges shut & attached it behind the opening.  I put the cut off background back behind the ferris wheel, added some foam tape all around the edges, then attached it to a slightly larger cobalt blue layer.

For the larger stamped background, I used the Ink Spots image and the sky blue ink all over the die cut layer then attached everything to my card.

Here are the Copics I used.

Does this image make you thirsty, lol? It’s been a 5 O’Clock kind of week around here. And I just love images w/ colorful, tasty beverages in them. After coloring them I die cut them & added some equally colorful layers of papers behind them. I thought the Relax die would fit in perfectly w/ the image.

    Cocktails xcu 09226
I added some stickles here & there for a little sparkle.

I’ve shown this on other posts, but I’m always amazed at how much sharper the image looks after over stamping w/ Versafine. Below.. left is just w/ Memento & Copics..right is after stamping again w/ Versafine (click any picture to enlarge).

    Welcome to the March
    Challenge for Serendipity Stamps!
This month the challenge is Circles/Dots! You can get all the details over on the
Serendipity Challenge Blog.  We also have a new “Stamp of the Month”. Each month a different image is 50% off  & this month- it’s the To the World!. Be sure to check out the great deals on the Clearance Stamps! And as always, we have a gift certificate up for grabs to a random player. This is also for the Featured Stamper (FS474) on Splitcoast. I chose THIS card of Geni’s.
    Feathered Hope 08572
For my card, I’m featuring this pretty little Goldfinch with the Hope quote. The goldfinches at our bird feeder still have their winter coats on, but I except to see the males starting to look like this one again soon.  I put him in my Misti, stamped w/ Memento, colored w/ Copics then over stamped w/ Versafine. I used a grand label 4 to die cut mainly just the left side & the black mat behind him. For the right side, I repeated the stamp, color, over stamp (w/ a little masking thrown in) using the Small Dogwood then fussy cut down the left side of them to attach on top. The pink paper has the small dots for the challenge & I thought it went well w/ the image. After I stamped the quote (minus the Hope at the beginning), I stamped part of the goldfinch image on a separate piece, lined up where I wanted to place the Hope die
, cut it, backed it w/ 2 more cut outs to elevate it, then placed it on top in the corresponding place of the image. The quote was stamped again on another piece & I used the smaller of the flowers from the hydrangea punch to punch out the areas I wanted & also attached them in place. I added just a little stickles to the flower centers.

Here’s a look at the inside. I left it blank for now & below it are the Copics I used.
