Such a cute site for the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC642)!After a lot of browsing, I chose THIS for my inspiration. I liked the sweet little duck & all the Easter eggs & I needed an Easter card so it was perfect.

For my Easter card today, the baby ducks were stamped, colored & die cut, and I had to do a little out of the box on the grass along the way. The large green bg started out white but I sponged Distress & Distress oxide inks onto it, splattered it & also stamped the Splatter Bg on it in blues, greens & finally white. The white splatter was heat embossed w/ white powder & I left an area at the bottom w/o too much on it so I could add the greeting. I was going for that speckled egg look on the bg.

Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Such a wonderful site Angie chose for the Inspiration Challenge. It took me a while, but I finally spied THIS fun ornament & I knew I had the perfect little flamingo image to use.

To make my card, I put the image into my Misti, stamped w/ Memento, colored w/ Copics then over stamped w/ Versafine. I added a few highlights in the water w/ a white gel pen then did a little fussy cutting on the top. I took another piece of white card stock & sponged the 3 Distress inks from dark to light from the top down & placed this behind my image. On the blue frame, I stamped the woodgrain bg w/ the sky blue ink to give it a little texture.

Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used. The flip flops were die cut & I just drew the straps on & shaded them a bit.

Such a fabulous site Brenda chose for the Inspiration Challenge! I loved THIS w/ the sweet little birdhouse so it was my inspiration.
For my card, I used the new Bird Feeder image (I love the little nuthatch!) &  wonderful greeting. Since it mentions stormy weather, I wanted the background to reflect that so after stamping & coloring the bird feeder, I masked it then sponged in the bg. I stamped the greeting then added a few raindrops I drew & cut out. I used a birds on a wire punch across a piece of black c/s then added strips of gray & red for contrast to the black layer. A little red bird was added just because…
