Today’s Color Challenge (CC560) on Splitcoast is navy & lt blue. I love navy & white for Christmas/winter cards & adding a little lt blue seemed perfect.
This was a fairly simple card..a little white embossing of the greeting & snowflakes on the navy background, a little dry embossed snow hill, an into the window gazebo w/ a couple of lamp posts and some more white embossing on the bottom of the frame. Nothing too hard or time consuming. I really like the look of white embossing on navy…to me it just looks sharp & clean. I also added a little tree inside the gazebo from the Christmas Village 4 in 1 & added some red ornament dots on it. The white frame is elevated just a bit from the lt blue layer.
Thanks so much for stopping by! If you haven’t, head on over and check out the DRS Thursday Challenge…this week, Tags! Make a tag or have one on your project. DRS images are not required & there’s a nice prize up for grabs.
