Today we are taking a look back at the ODBD April release! Such beautiful dies, papers and images! For my card, I used the beautiful Flourish Pattern die as the main focus. I first die cut it out of white card stock. I used a piece of card board under the card stock when I die cut it and the negative piece stuck to the card board. I placed a piece of sticker paper over this and managed to get all the negative pieces stuck to the sticker paper. The exposed area was still sticky so I coated it with black embossing powder and heat embossed it. Maybe a little involved, but I like the look of the shiny embossing powder in the space where the die cut would be.Â
I stamped and black embossed the Flourish Label onto neon green card stock and die cut it.The greeting is part of the Chalkboard Collection paper and was die cut as well. I also added a little Copic fluorescent green to the lettering. To finish, I added a black grosgrain bow tied w/ a narrow neon green ribbon.
