Such a great site Brenda chose for the Inspiration Challenge (IC686)! After we moved this past year, I spent a lot of time on the Sherwin Williams site looking at paint colors. For my card today, I was inspired by THIS picture. I love the colors & the sprinkling of stars.

For my starry card, I die cut the stars border into a piece of gray for the bg. Then I cut it again in white for the star outlines & again in a piece of tissue bleed bg I had from a long time ago & put them together. I also die cut the capital letters out of the same bg to insert in the greeting. A few star gems were colored w/ Copics to match & added along w/ a white scallop frame.

Here’s a look at the inside where I added the gray outline of stars down the side.

My cowgirl Valentine fits right in w/ the Free For All (F4A466) Challenge to make a Valentine w/o using a heart.

After coloring & fussy cutting my seemed easier than trying to mask her & color the bg dark blue, I die cut a big circle moon for her to lasso. I added the greeting onto the moon, then added the fence boards at the bottom & some stars at the top of the card front.

Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.

For the CAS Challenge (CAS517), the theme is to use the letters COLD. So for my card, I have:

C = Copic coloring
O = owl
L= Love
D= die cutting

This card was pretty easy. I had already colored & die cut Epstein the owl the other day & didn’t use him, so today is his day! The Love word was also already done, but not used yet. I added a white layer behind it to help it stand out from the rose strip behind it. Only the first half of the greeting was used & I used my Misti to help place it & rearrange part of it.

Here’s a look at the inside (blank for now) & the Copic I used for Epstein.
