A big congrats to Twila, the newest Featured Stamper (FS519) on Splitcoast! I didn’t have to go far to find THIS beauty to case. I kept the layout & flowers, but I used different images, different colors & made mine a birthday card.
All the flowers & leaves were placed into my Misti, stamped w/ the Paris Dusk ink, lightly colored w/ Copics, overstamped w/ the denim ink then die cut. I like the color of the denim ink better than the Memento, but from experience, the Adirondack inks don’t play well w/ the Copics, so I save it to stamp on top after the coloring. The greeting was stamped using the Versafine to ensure it would be dark & the letters totally filled in. The paper strips were all leftovers I trimmed to fit inside the white panel
Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.

A big congrats to Pam, the newest Featured Stamper (FS518) on Splitcoast! She has a wonderful gallery & after much browsing, I chose THIS to case. I kept the flower theme & general layout, but I used different images, different colors & left off the twine.
I just received these fun new Fancy Flowers kit from MFT & couldn’t wait to give it a test drive. The flowers were colored & die cut w/ the matching dies. I already had the white stitched arch so I die cut a couple of black ones to fill in & added the negative die cut of the greeting & a few crystals.
Here are the Copics I used.

This was also inspired by the Inspiration Challenge (IC678) & THIS is the picture/colors that inspired me.
To make my Wonderland card, I stamped the Winter Fence Line, masked off the bottom, put a circle mask for the moon & sponged in the pink & lilac for the sky. I used Copics to color the shadows on the snow then added snow in the sky & on the trees w/ a white gel pen. After die cutting the lilac & purple layers, the greeting was white embossed under the window. I attached the scene behind the window then added the die cut snowflakes & a little stickles on the snow in the trees.
Here’s a look at the inside…more sponging & the same fence line was stamped w/ the lilac ink. Below it are the Copics I used.
Please be sure to comment on all the DT Blogs..it will be so appreciated.
