Today we’re taking another look at the Our Daily Bread designs May Release! The images are wonderful & the dies are, well…to die for!
For my vintage inspired hatstand card, I started w/ a piece of watercolored bg I had in my stash. The colors are kind of pink/violet & the paper has a texture so I stamped over it w/ the Medallion Bg using the grape ink. I like how the texture gives it a sort of worn wallpaper tapestry look. After die cutting it w/ one of the Pierced Rectangles, I used one of the Leafy Edged Border dies to cut the bottom & another to cut a dk violet strip to go under it. The image itself was colored w/ Copics & die cut. the little ornamental side pieces are from the die cut border. I didn’t have much room left for a greeting at the bottom, just enough to stamp one of the Medallion Greetings.
Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.

This is for today’s Sketch Challenge (SC592) on Splitcoast. My version is flipped from the original..I’m not sure why I did this..it just looked better to me.
I did my usual..put the images in my Misti, stamp w/ Memento, color w/ Copics, overstamp w/ Versafine then die cut w/ the matching dies. Aren’t these little fairies adorable? I colored them to go w/ the deep jewel tone paper I wanted to use..it’s called Boho Bolds from ODBD. The layers were die cut & on the diagonal layer, I just positioned the Pierced Rectangle across it after I cut it the first time.
Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Congrats to Carla, the newest Featured Stamper (FS483) on Splitcoast! She has such a fun gallery & I chose THIS to case. I kept the mustache & neutral colors, but used punches & dies instead of images & added an embossed bg.
I started w/ a large white stitched circle & added the die cut glasses & punched stache & bow tie. I punched a couple of extra staches to use as hair on top of the head & on the bow tie I added some lines w/ a white Prismacolor pencil. He’s attached to large lt gray panel where I stamped the greeting across the bottom & added some blue wiggle eyes inside the glasses.
Congrats again, Carla! Thanks so much for stopping by!
