Hello everyone!!! Welcome to the Our Daily Bread designs September release blog hop! This month’s release is super fun!! I just love all these sets with a plant and seeds theme!!!
For my card, I colored the wonderful image from The Good Seed and cut it out. It’s attached to a Scrolly Border which was also colored and die cut w/ a Spellbinders Long Rectangle that I resized to make shorter. The green card stock was embossed w/ a journal folder and added some raised dots w/ a black glaze pen. The very colorful dp is some I’ve had in my stash for a while. The paper bow was made from some Twistel (tightly wrapped paper) that I unwrapped before tying it in a bow. I used a 1/2″ circle for my faux brad made from the same dp. The finished card measures 5 x 6.5 (A7). [Note: to those who asked about lining up the sentiment w/ the embossing folder. I figured out where the image panel would go, then stamped the greeting on the green c/s. Then I placed the green c/s in the embossing folder and lined it up. It’s much easier to align the folder w/ the stamped image than vice versa. 🙂 ]

I really like this. The punch from the black & white checked areas is so jolly! Is there somewhere I can find out how to line up a stamp on the embossed lines? I saw that embossing folder and was very tempted by it. Now I have to go to HB and get it! Sort of a “build it and they will come” thing. Buy the folder, then figure out how to make it work!

Julie- wow this is beautifully colored, I love all the elements and the color combinations. That journal embossed piece is cool= will have to look around for that one. This set is so versatile.
