It’s my pleasure to host the first Inspiration Challenge of June (IC757)! And such an inspiring site we have w/ Design Pool & their Pinterest Boards. THIS is the picture that inspired my card.Â
I have a card today w/ most of the fish going one way & the one fish going the other. Doesn’t seem to bother him…he’s smiling! I think that’s probably me, lol. My mom always said I have a mind of my own & growing up, in order to get me to do something, she had to make me think it was my idea. Anyway, for my scene, I stamped the background fish w/ teal ink onto some turquoise paper that had been spritzed w/ a little bleach. I added just a touch of color to the fish. The main character was was stamped on white & fussy cut. I added a little stickles to him & to the stamped bubbles. The porthole was die cut (yay! I found a die that fit!). On the teal bg, I embossed it w/ a wave folder & some of it cracked, revealing the white core. So I just went w/ it & sanded off some of the high points to reveal the white.Â
The greeting was split w/ half on the front & the rest inside. Below it are the Copics I used.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
