Archive for April, 2011
Nice sketch today and loved the cool colors from yesterday’s color challenge, so I thought I’d try to combine them.
All images are Our Daily Bread designs. This took a lot longer than it should have. To be fair, we are having a new front door put in and since it has side lights and a Palladian window it turns out it’s all or nothing. The poor parrots are nervous wrecks from all the banging and sawing! Hopefully, they’ll be finished tomorrow.
Anyway, I used the neptune and kpad inks to stamp everything except the sentiment. The colors didn’t quite look like I wanted so I used a little Prismacolor pencils on top. The lower band is a very small music print and I stamped the bird bg on top.
The 3 round elements were done w/ the hole punches and the finished ivory card measures 4.25 x 5.5.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

I’m showing you the last card for the ISC April Release! This one uses the Silhouette Butterfly sheet. For my card, I stamped all the images with the red ink onto pink c/s. A lt gray marker was used to add a little shadow to all the leaves and a few red c/s layers and onto a 4.25 x 5.5 card. One butterfly was stamped and cut out. Pretty quick and simple!
