Julie Warner –
What a fun site for today’s Inspiration Challenge (IC395) on Splitcoast! Since it’s almost the 4th of July, I went with this fun Fireworks Outfit.

The images are all from DRS Designs. And for my July 4th tribute card, I’m using this wonderful Freedom Cannon. After coloring w/ Copics, I die cut it and attached it to a red rectangle. The red rect. was embossed w/ a star border down the left and a stripe folder on the right. On the royal blue background, I inked just the fireworks part of the Freedom Cannon and stamped it tone on tone. The sentiment was inked w/ 2 colors of ink and die cut in a banner shape. A little stickles was added to the fireworks for a little sparkle. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25.

Here are the Copics I used:

Fun challenge today on the Ways to Use It Challenge (WT394)… use TAGS! I always forget about using tags, so this was a nice reminder.

My big green tag was cut w/ a Cricut who knows how long ago…just sitting there waiting to be used. So this time of year, big green tag equals Christmas card to me. I stamped colored and cut out the candy canes and attached them to the tag. On the tag, I stamped the dots w/ a green ink first.

The background is 1 image stamp that I inked w/ the 4 colors of Distress Inks and stamped 4 or 5 times to cover the bg. The images are all from DRS Designs and the finished card id 4.25 x 5.50.

Just a reminder, today is the DRS Thursday Challenge on the DRS Blog! The challenge this week is to use a PUMPKIN on your card! Head on over, like up your creation (DRS images are NOT required) and you’ll be entered to win a fab prize!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
