A big congrats to Kath, the newest Featured Stamper (FS723) on Splitcoast! She has a beautiful gallery & I chose THIS to case. I kept the central greeting surrounded by greenery & spritzed color, but I used different images, dies & added a few layers.
For my card, I got out a stencil & used some shimmery gold, pale red & pale green sprays. I wasn’t really in love w/ the way it looked but I noticed I still had quite a bit of the shimmery spray on the stencil, so I put it face down on another piece of white card stock. Then I spritzed it a little more & used just the gold on a couple of the smaller layers. On the diamond part of the layer, I added some of the pale red spray. The pinecones, holly & berries were colored & die cut to add on the corners.
Here are the Copic I used on the images:

For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC784), we are headed to Bathhouse Soapery. They have some lovely things & I was inspired by THIS. I loved the elf legs poking out of the sugar scrub.
I’m not sure how I arrived at my card, exactly…I tried an elf shoes image, but it was too big to have them sticking out of something. So I used this cute gnome & a very large cup of cocoa. And I had to split the gnome in half to have his head show above the cup, so he’s obviously the tall gnome in his family. When I started putting it together, it looked a little blank, so I added a window & put a piece of patterned paper behind it, & some little presents below it.

Congrats to Gayle, the newest Featured Stamper (FS722)! She has a lovely gallery & I chose THIS to case. I mainly went w/ the one on the left, keeping the cardinal & greenery, but I used different images & dies & used a different layout.
I stamped the lantern & colored it w/ Copics. Did a little out of the box to keep from cutting off the top of the lantern & the tip of the cardinal’s tail (trust me..birds do not like you messing w/ their tails).
On the kraft layer, I stamped the new pinecone all over w/ the Distress oxide ink but a left a space for the greeting. The pine green circle was dry embossed & I rubbed some gold rub n buff type paste over the top of it. A white gel pen was used to add some highlights to the greeting.
