A big congrats to Sheri, the newest Featured Stamper (FS685) on Splitcoast! There are many I would love to case but I chose THIS card to base my card on. I kept the big flower on top w/ stripes below but I used different dies, different stamps & angled my top panel.
For my card, I used this beautiful new flower die, new stripe bg & new inks. I die cut the flower once out of white & twice in hot pink then split the pink petals to frame the white ones on either side & used the ends of the other pink to add to the ends of the white ones. On the stripes, I inked them w/ different colors of the little ink squares. I added a hot pink layer behind the white one & put it all together.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Keep safe!

Today’s Inspiration Challenge (IC746) has a lot to inspire! I used THIS picture as inspiration for my card. They were using an alcohol ink bg & alcohol lift ink so I made a reddish AI bg & used the lift ink to stamp the stripes, then die cut the flowers.
The circle/squares die was used for the bg & I put a piece of blue/green shaving cream bg behind it as contrast to the red flowers. Then I couldn’t decide how to arrange the flowers. I bet that never happens to you! The angled corner piece was hanging out so I told it to suit up, stamped the greeting on it & tucked the flowers inside. For a touch of sparkle, I added a few clear sequins.

The CAS Challenge on Splitcoast today is bunnies or chicks. I love these cute little peeps & they should qualify as bunnies. I saw a t-shirt ad that had this greeting & some sunglass wearing peeps & thought it was a cute idea.
For my card, I stamped the 3 peeps, added the sunglasses & then used a few Copics to draw the patterns on them. They were fussy cut & then I thought to add the bow & bow ties so I fussy cut those, too. I had to use a few greetings put together to get what you see & I used a marker to add the IN’ to the end of Peep. The frames & angled piece were some that didn’t get used on another project & I liked how they looked here.
This is going to my dad & stepmom so I wiped the ink off of the “one” & wrote in “two”.
Thank
